Episode 053 Rebecca (1940)
For the first episode of our certified fresh month, where we pick films we haven’t seen off the top 100 list from Rotten Tomatoes.com, we went with Rebecca (1940). Directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine, this film, recently released from Criterion Collection, is one that Jonathan and Corey had both never seen. Corey purchased this for Jonathan as a Christmas present so it made sense to start the year off.

Next episode 054 – L.A. Confidential
Jonathan gets to pick the next movie from the Rottentomatoes.com list, and L.A. Confidential (1997) stood out. It’s a film he bought last year and has been waiting to watch. Directed by Curtis Hanson starring Kevin Spacey (unfortunate timing), Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, Kim Basinger, and Danny DeVito.
