Berk Reviews Movie Club episode 050 – Home for the Holidays

Jonathan’s pick for episode 050 was Home for the Holidays (1995). It’s directed by Jodie Foster and stars Holly Hunter, Anne Bancroft, Charles Durning, Dylan McDermott, and Robert Downey, Jr. The film is set at Thanksgiving but really could apply to being home during Christmas. It’s one that Corey had only seen once so it worked well for this month’s holiday movie theme.

Episode 051 – White Christmas (1954)

Corey has missed some major Christmas classics. This week and next will attempt to remedy two of her biggest gaps. White Christmas (1954) is directed by Michael Curtiz and stars Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen. It’s one of Jonathan’s favorite Christmas films so he’s excited about introducing it to Corey.
