In honor of the release of Spider-Man Homecoming, Episode 056 – Reboot suggestions features Jonathan Berk (@berkreviews), Corey Starr (@coreyrstarr), and Michael Sanchez (@servermonkey) discussing what films or franchises need reboots. The lists that are hypothetical are often more challenging, but sometimes they fall into a groove. The trio used the following definition from Script Firm as a framing for their lists: “reboot indicates a complete overhaul of the source material; a reimagining, reconceptualization into a franchise. The new material may be vastly different from the original material that only the title remains. A reboot may maintain some or all of the character names, plot elements, themes, setting and story lines, but a reboot is basically starting from scratch.”

Top 5 Movies that should get a reboot.
5. He never died. Great movie idea, terrible execution. There was so much they could of done to flesh out the back story that they barely touched. Henry Rollins is also a terrible actor. I think a better leading roll actor would be Jim Caviezel.
4. Smokey and the Bandit. I loved Smokey and the Bandit as a kid, but it’s dated. I think with modern technology and new actorys we could have another great action comedy. I would like to see Burt Reynolds could now play the role of Buford T. Justice and a new young actor like Channing tatum, Vince Vahn
3. Now that Marvel has passed over the rated R ratings, I think it’s time to redo Judge Dredd the way it was meant to be. original comics of Dredd were very gritty and violent. I think Tom Hardy would make a great Judge Dredd.
2. The Conan Series. I really enjoyes the original two with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The reboot with Jason Momoa I hated. They can get a new actor, and continue the stories that were never told outside of the Arnold stories. There are so many Conan stories that can be told and they could do it similar to how they have had different James Bond Actors.
1. Episodes 1-3 of Starwars. Do I need to say more about this one?
Chris Pine as Indiana Jones?
