It’s Spooky Season and it is quite common for movie nerds to flock to the horror genre. Well, basketball nerds have March Madness where the best college basketball teams are put on a bracket and compete in a tournament. Matt and Jon decided to bring that madness to the Bloody Awesome Movie Podcast for October with the first-ever Horror Movie Havoc! 31 movies have been chosen and for this year the guys limited themselves to films available on Shudder (they’re not a sponsor…but we’re open to the idea). The lists of movies were ranked by Letterboxd.com average rating and then the bracket was created below. See Jon’s 15 and Matt’s 15 on Letterboxd.com to see who picked what.
A movie wins its competition by a vote. Matt gets one vote. Jon gets one vote. Then our listeners will be voting on social media as the third and final vote. The winner advances to the next round!
